In other news… me and my guy are doing great, getting together with a few of my friends tomorrow at Ruby Tuesday’s here in town for food, drinks, and conversation, what i enjoy. Classes are good, got a bitch of an annotated bibliography due Wednesday, but it should be no problem to get done. My position paper this time in ENG 1020 will be on sensuality in Television, not just violence, but sex, language and the sort. Now, I’m not against them, but it’s just a topic with a lot of meat on the bones, and I think it’ll be an easy paper for me to do.

Got a CD labeling kit, making great labels on a limited basis for some audio projects.

Also got in an old Hauppauge TV card that I got on E-Bay, and it works like a charm! Now, if only I can get time and inspiration to do some pages on nicholasmooneyhan.com/blog

I might not do a game show page ever again, but just a general TV oddity page with various screencaps that I deem fit to put up there…. thank god I’m only doing 10 KB captures to start out with…

I think I have the kinks worked out of the DVD+R issue… keep your fingers crossed….

Why does the number five have significance to me today….

Because I’m in my fifth relationship now. This one is different from before, it blossomed over time this time. Not only does me and this person share similar interests, but shares my sense of humor as well. His name is Greg, and he is a very special guy to me. He is my boyfriend now. It will be taken slow, of course, but he means a lot to me now.

You may be asking yourself, why am I only making this available to certain friends? Because certain people may think that I am dating a freak, stalker, whatever. To those persons, fuck them! I don’t care what they think. I may not continue to use this secret list in the future if I deem so, but I wanted to do it this way first. I hope you all understand.

Having fun so far this weekend, got my new DVD recorder and am having fun figuring out the knack of it, hehe. Don’t worry, I’m not waisting discs. 🙂

Got the 80GB hard drive in as a slave drive on F:, schweet… hehe, now I’ve got a comfortable pad even on my C: drive, which has a 14.4 GB capacity.

Got a speech due in Pub. Speaking tomorrow morning, I’m going to give a presentation on Dark Shadows. Now there is something that is going to be interesting.

Have I mentioned that I hate my flipping job? I need new employment and fast, will wait until the end of the semester however so as not to conflict with my vacation time already scheduled at my current job for announcing Boone baseball games.

I’ll try to think of more to share later, prepping to go to today’s ETSU/Georgia Southern game down at Cardinal Park.

Picked up another sweet deal at Best Buy today… an 80 GB hard drive, paid $79.99 but will get a $40 rebate! Booyeah!

So, if I seem busy tonight, I will be burning stuff to CDR for the transition, tentatively set for tomorrow.

I love all these new gadgets 😀

BTW, I got a B- on my position paper in English 1020. I shouldn’t have rehashed from my exploratory paper so much, but it’s a learning process. More about today’s events tonight. Off to work (blah blah blah).

OK, went to Best Buy again last night, got a Memorex CD-RW drive for only $59.99. Dropped it in, voila, it works! 🙂

On another note, yesterday was the opening day for high school baseball across the state of Tennessee, and I went to Boone to do my job. I arrive to find that they have been remodeling the dugouts, and have disconnected the power to the press box, including the scoreboard. So, basically, I have no use being there. Boy was I irritated, but I held it all inside and didn’t let it show. Boone won over Cocke County, 12-2 in 5 innings. They’d better have things fixed because there is a four day tournament next week there, and I would love to do SOMETHING during this tournament. 🙂

I’m debating as to wether or not to get a caputre card now or wait on that for summertime. Probably will wait considering I don’t have time to do anything right now. I do have to get something up on nicholasmooneyhan.com/blog soon, hehe 😀

Ever feel like Doctor Who sometimes… traveling forward in time as well as backwards?

Well, today, me and my computer made a leap forward in time from Win 98 First Edition all the way to XP Service Pack 2! I saw it on the shelf at Best Buy today for $89.99 and the option for a $50 main in rebate! I jumped on the deal, and here I am on XP now…

Next purchase will be a new CDRW drive, the one in this computer is damaged and has needed replacing for a while…

Well, went to Danville and hung out with John on Friday, had a blast, stayed the night in a hotel room there, even got a bit tipsy whilst there, fun fun. See, people can have fun while drinking and not become an alcoholic.

Class starts again tomorrow, and I have made the decision that I am going to take some classes this summer, waiting to get clarification on what financial aid I get for the summer.

I am sick. My allergies have slapped me in the face. Woke up Monday feeling like crap and sneezing like crazy. 🙁

Knocked myself out with some good ol’ Ny-Quil last night, that stuff does wonders. I got a good decent night of sleep for the first time in I don’t know how long.

Work sucks this week too (and when has it not sucked?). It’s been slow as hell, so the nights have been dragging on…. I mean it’s sssssssllllllllllooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww :-\

Oh well, I have Friday to look forward to. In sickness and in health, John is still coming over to hang out. And this blasted weather better clear up and get warmer.
