Well, my future is in question now… I want to pursue what I always have wanted to pursue… broadcasting.

Those who know me know I am into the know-how in front of and behind the camera or the microphone (albeit television or radio) and want to do something about it.

That and considering the future I have with Citibank have led me to pursue joining the bandwagon of Mike Klauss and others in looking into going back to college. Specifically East Tennessee State University. Me and a very good friend, Jordan, are going there tomorrow to see what I can do to get in there now or next Spring.

I have mentioned this to my supervisor here at work, and he says he’ll try to accommodate anything that comes up, including the possibilty of going part time.

The only thing that worries me is how much is this all going to cost… can I get aid or student loans to cover this all? I think looking at it in retrospect that Spring is a better alternative, but nothing is being thrown out at this point.

There is one person that I look up to and am very proud to know that is realizing his dream currently, and that is Kris aka Xanfan, and if you’re reading this, I’m going to pursue what I want to do now, and you’re my main inspiration for doing this, I have complete confidence that I will do good at this, and I am certain I have your full support.

So, all that is left is to see what can be done, and everyone wish me luck!

Well, folks, I’m still trying to overcome life’s inconsistencies, and I have a preliminary fix on when I may be back online… maybe in September or October now.

Oh, well, that doesn’t mean that my life isn’t totally depressing. I would post more often about my life, but I don’t want to get in trouble for surfing the internet at work. And since I’m not posting from work, I think that it’s way too paranoid there anyway about surfing the internet. But anyhoo…

The ol’ Mustang is about to give out, if it can last until the 13th, my mom will buy it off of me and I’ll take that money and get me a better car, hopefully a ‘9x model, something decent that is more dependable than what I’ve been driving.

My job is going great, still working hard handling people wanting more than $25,000 on their Home Depot card, trouble is that half the people who ask have pisspoor credit it’s a joke and a waist of my time. But at least it gives me something to do. (If I sound bitter, I am, it just has been stressful a little bit lately).

The relationship front seems to be taking a turn for the better, I met a guy through a mutual friend who works at a local library, he’s very handsome and very sweet, we’re going to go see “The Village” on Friday night.

Speaking of which, I have Fridays off permanently, and I’m going to go watch a lot of High School Football games, yeah, for the first time in almost three years I get to live Friday night fever! Woot!

Well, everyone must be wondering, where the hell have I been. It goes like this… I am broke as a joke, having to still come to my friend’s house to get online and even do anything. Life has sucked lately, but it has had it strong suits.

I have begun announcing at baseball games again (I had done this over three years ago for a short stint) at the local high school here in Gray, Daniel Boone High School, home of the Trailblazers… they’re a scrappy bunch with a lot of heart, ending up 8-27 for the season, but I love ’em, and I done my best for them to contribute to the game. I had a blast.

Job’s going fine, I now do highline requests, that is requests for higher lines of credit, very very detailed work in verification and checking, basically a zero error task. No stress… no stress… no stress… 😀

I don’t know when I’ll be back online if ever. I hope to be such someday, because I miss all of you guys very much.

Well, folks, just as I had thought, my cable is gone for now. It’s actually been gone for a week now… I’m here at my friend’s house typing this entry. So, I am going to be offline for at least the next two weeks, I hope that will be all, and hopefully I’ll be back online to wreak more havoc 🙂

Car is doing decent, I definately need to find another car better than this rust bucket I’m driving now, the dependability factor weighs heavily.

Work has me in for vacation the week of March 22nd. Whoot! I am already making plans on what to do… and don’t worry, I’m keeping it local and cheap 🙂

I woke up this morning and felt like complete shit. The cold air has been getting to me like something fierce. But I feel better now, and am ready to go back to work tomorrow. I can’t wait until Friday, the car is in grasp!

I got a chance to finish a major personal project today…

Some people know I love to do music projects, so I took my Star Wars (Special Edition) 2 CD set and recreated the sequencing of the original double album released in 1977, only in crystal clear clarity. Don’t get me wrong, I love listening to the vinyl copy too, but it gave me something to accomplish to do this… 🙂

Info on the CD reissue of the original double album, for those that are unfamiliar with it, is at this link.

But, as I have finished this project, I do want to see the full realization of it, to be burnt onto a CD… and this presents a problem, I can forget doing anything like that on this eight-year old Packard Bell 100 mhz dinosaur.

So, I am calling on my LJ friends to possibly give me a hand here, if I can reimburse you for burning 2 CD’s, just like the CD reissue at the link mentioned above, and for postage, I would very much appreciate it! I will be encoding the rest of the files overnight to MP3, and will post them up to be downloaded to whomever wants to help out, or to whomever would like to hear them, I’ll post the link here. Anyhoo, Friday, here I come!

Well, work has been going very good lately. I caught some fraud… hook, line and sinker yesterday, and there are some great co-workers on my team. One of them I wish to give a shoutout to is Tom, who is also lead singer of a locally popular band, Blind Sight. Weird thing was that I was watching the local cable access channel today, a local bowling match to be specific. And during the ad nauseum ads, they played a bit from their “Homemade Jam” series, and there was said band, and I must say they had a great sound. I’ll be sure to mention the sighting to Tom on Monday at work.

Watching the repeat of the Elijah Wood SNL from December ’03, the only bit I had seen the first time around was the high-pitched choir sketch, and that was surely hilarious. The whole bit with the sitcom “Hard Hobbit to Break” was hilarious!

Well, not much more to say, 6 days and counting to the car!

Neat title, eh… hmm.

Well, I’m getting ready to head off to work, I’ve pretty much cemented the 30th as my date to get the car back, and I will try to get my taxes filed online at a friend’s suggestion using pay stubs from last year to plug in the data. I hope this works. I don’t want to be without cable, but if it happens, it happens. I know you guys won’t mind it, I’ve disappeared at least 2 or 3 times that I can remember, but I have always been welcomed back with open arms.

But look at it this way, would I rather be walking to work in 20 degree weather for a mile and a half, and my back is already killing me. I can find a better way to exercise (yes, baugh217, you read that correctly :-P)

Sorry I haven’t posted often enough lately. But here goes the recent blotter…

Met a guy named Brandon who remembers me from my Hardee’s job three years ago, and he thinks I’m very cute, he’s coming over tonight to spend a couple days, yay! Also, called Walley Hell about the W-2’s from last year I desparately need, and wouldn’t you know they’re mailing them to me. I hope the USPS will forward them on to me here instead of return to sender. I will be majorly pissed if the latter happens.

Also, made a few new friends at work, if you’re reading this, you know who you are 😀

BTW, my opinon of guest announcer Daniel Rosen on Price is Right, what a joke, he’s lousy. I’m surprised he’s going to be back for another week of shows in February. Ugh!

Still hoping to get that car back soon, when that happens, I will be so relieved.
