Well, I thought I was getting ahead, until this car that I got decided to tank on me. Had a compression test done on it and it turns out that #3 cylinder was only operating at 50% capacity. They said I would only get off with minor engine rebuilding. Boo! Bloody mechanics wanting $$$, that’s all it is.

By the way, SNOW!!!! Finally I get some snow here in Tennessee, about 1″-2″ outside, and it looks beautiful. To quote Tweety, “This is what I get for dweaming of a white twistmas!”

I know this will sound like whining on my part, but it must be said.

I was over at the chatroom on Golden-Road.net this morning, and someone (who will not be named here) suggested that in the Lucky Seven game, that it was a “forced loss”. Fast foward a few seconds later, and I just submit my opinion and say “I do not think they can force a loss, that could be considered rigging the outcome”. Well, I didn’t think nothing of my comment, but then I was told two disturbing lines, again, names withheld, one basically said “I’m about the put nicholas on ignore”, and another said “You don’t understand what we’re talking about, so shush”.

Well, I don’t usually make these kinds of posts to any forum, be it journal, message board forum or chatroom, but I just wonder why these so called “fans” over on that board really do besides complain about a show. I am seriously considering never going there again, and I probably would be better off not going there again, no offense to the moderators, who have done nothing wrong whatsoever, but I just take issues with some of these so called “fans”, not on a personal basis, but just for a matter of respect for someone who has a dissenting opinion of what they think of a TV show.

Well, I have got a digital cable box, just so I can see Soapnet and Showtime… I need to watch more Queer as Folk, hehe…

Now I finally see what all the hoopla was in the whole “Who Shot JR” thing on Dallas on Soapnet, I didn’t get to see that part of the show back when TNN ran it, but then again I subjected myself to the awful Pam Dreams season, which Family Guy appropriately spoofed. But while waiting for that show to go on… I discovered an interesting forgotten soap from the late 70’s in ABC-land… Ryan’s Hope. It was interesting to see Kate Mulgrew in her days prior to helming that awful dreck of a show Star Trek: Voyager, and to see glitches in the same tape machines that were used for Dark Shadows (same studio too). Quite a throwback to an interesting show.

BTW, sorry for not issuing my pick for Week 11 in the NFL, I’ll be back for Week 12 on Friday.

Well, I’ve been burning the midnight oil all night tonight, and I got a little curious as to “what the hell are all these old links in my IE folders”, and I found my old boarhost board back when I first opened my fragmented PYL episode guide. While that project did fall by the wayside (as did the CS and TTTT guides)… what I found on that board shocked me. Mind you, I already deleted the stuff that I found, but it seems to have been the playground of the same asswipe who has alt.tv.game-shows as his playground right now, or some copycat. Mind you, I couldn’t care less, but seeming as how I have this account, I might as well retool it and use it, so I’m going to rechristen it up under my main page. It probably won’t get used, but oh well, and we’ll see if it attracts attention of that filfth that calls himself a “netizen”.

Oh well, enough ranting for a Sunday morning.
