NFL Pix Statz

You know, I just had a thought, I’ve been seeing a lot of people with NFL picks on their blogs, and I would like to query you guys to see if you would mind if I, just for unofficial reasons, kept track of your guys picks to see how all you play against how I do. Just the won-lost record is all I’m after. If you think it’s OK guys, comment and let me know.

Interests Meme

Alright, there’s this interests meme, and in case nobody knows how it goes, here’s how it works…

“If you have fewer than 50 interests, you pick every fifth one. If you have
50-75 interests, you pick every seventh. More than 75, pick every 10th one. If
you have fewer than 10, pick all of ’em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone
exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much

And now, stolen from too many people to name on this blog…

As I’ve watched the images of the devastation along the gulf unfold over the last few days, I’m left with one lasting impression. These so-called “thugs” misbehaving and causing nothing but problems down there are a discredit and shame to this country. I never understood the criminal mind… check that… the deviant mind, and I don’t think I ever will. All I know is this, we live in a sad society fueled by rap music and the mentality that you have to be “badass” in order to be somebody in this world. And hearing a few minutes ago that engineers trying to repair the flood levy were shot at, only to have fire returned and five of them end up dead is just plain insane. What a world we live in.

Well, we didn’t get much rain, so I guess we’ve been blessed. However, I am just shocked at all the devastation that has occured in the gulf area. Life will never be the same again.

If there is one thing that has annoyed me with this whole thing, it’s Nancy Grace on CNN. She pisses me the fuck off. I think you all will know why and knowing what I cannot fucking stand.

BTW, I can see baugh217 jumping up and down over the Mets winning with autorit-i!!!

Weather

Approx 10:00 PM the rain has begun here from the after effects of Katrina. I don’t think Northeast Tennessee will see too much in the way of rain, but what’s left of her is coming towards Tennessee now. I pray everyone can get back in LA, MS and AL soon.

The Edge- Undetermined

So, I’m packed full of stuff to do all week long, adding Friday night football to the mix as well. That mix is spicy! Hehe.

More tomorrow…

The Week

Well, not much to say as I finally get around to updating. Getting ready for class next week, have to get a stupid wavier from financial aid because I don’t have enough loan money in yet to cover all but $360 of my costs. So help me God, I don’t want to get purged.

This might sound rather interesting, but I’m going to watch my alma mater in high school football action on Friday. It’s the 11th Battle of the Boot, Lee High vs. Powell Valley. To those of you in the region on my list that at least have a pulse, I don’t think there’s any way my old school can win, given they’ve went 1-9 each of the last two seasons (2-18 total). But, I just wanted to say I went back to my roots at least once this year before I focus solely on the local Northeast TN teams.

Well, not much more for now, see ya!

Pimp up in the shizzle fo nizzle

Deacon Dr. Mooneyhan Smooth

Hey now, that might fit, but, alas, I’m not of the pimp mindset.

Watched a good movie on HBO earlier today, 61* , all about the 1961 home run chase with Maris and Mantle. Directed by Billy Crystal (a devoted Yankees fan) himself. Even though I root for Boston, it’s still a good film.
