Guys, I need to try to get very few parts of my website back up, but I want to possibly get a domain name this time… can anyone suggest a good hosting site, I don’t need much space, and a good place to get a domain name? TIA.
In other news, man it snowed! We got about two inches, but class is on schedule, as I figured. Locally, I just got word of a major pileup on I-26 between Exit 38 and 42, all four lanes are closed down.
Fun weather event a-plenty it seems. We at least got one light snow before winter says goodbye in about three weeks.
Nicole, the station manager, came by today to Survey of Broadcasting class and asked if anyone could fill a hole tonight from 6:00-8:00, I volunteered with no hesitation.
So, I had to double prepare at the last minute, but it’s all part of the fun of radio, and I’m on for four hours with two hours in between. Cool beans!

Well, it has been a while since Phone Post mania, so here goes…
I went to Atlanta, GA last weekend to visit a friend, Marlin, whom I had been chatting with for a long time. I had a blast down there! Went to lots of great places, including the Underground in downtown, rode around on the MARTA rail service, and saw Turner Field and the Georgia Dome (at least, went by them). He was a very great guy and a hospitable host, I definately plan to go back down there sometime soon.
My friend John from Danville is going to try to come by on Friday to hang out for the day, I hope the weather dosen’t become too problematic.
Classes going good this week, have a rough draft due next week and a test next week in Survey… Gah.
Radio gig is going well, I’m starting to improvise on the air, a great talent I’m told is needed to be good as a personality on the air.
